A vintage Wedgwood “Morning in the Farmyard” collector plate by British artist John L. Chapman, issued in 1988 as the first plate in the Life on the Farm series.
The detailed countryside scene depicts traditional rural life in an English farmyard, with horses, a cart, farmhouse buildings, poultry and figures. The reverse identifies the plate as fine Queen’s Ware, made in England by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Limited, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent.
This example is particularly desirable because it retains its original Wedgwood presentation box, protective packaging and Certificate of Authenticity.
