Colourful set of three miniature Xochimilco trajinera boat souvenirs, modelled after the brightly decorated flat-bottomed boats traditionally associated with the canals of Xochimilco in Mexico City. Their distinctive arched signs and vivid painted construction strongly reference traditional trajineras.
Each miniature has a yellow arch marked “XOCHIMILCO”, with red boat interiors and brightly coloured decorative panels. One features orange flowers, another a traditional-style illustrated figure, while the tallest example has a plain yellow backboard. They have a charming handmade folk-art appearance and would make an unusual travel-souvenir or Mexican-themed display set.
