PRODUCT DETAILS
A beautiful pair of antique Japanese Imari porcelain plates, decorated in the traditional Imari palette of iron red, cobalt blue, turquoise, and white. Each plate features an elegant scalloped rim with finely painted floral sprays, decorative cartouches, and a central blue-and-white medallion depicting birds among bamboo.
The reverse is decorated in underglaze blue with floral motifs. The unmarked bases and hand-painted decoration suggest early 20th-century Japanese export porcelain in the Imari tradition. The plates are fitted with vintage wire hangers, making them ready for wall display.
