Antique blue and white transferware bowl featuring the Canton pattern and an impressed/printed R. Regout & Co., Maastricht backstamp. The decoration features an Asian-inspired garden scene with figures, architecture, flowering plants and rockwork, surrounded by an elaborate floral and geometric border. The gently sloping bowl form makes this an attractive decorative as well as collectible piece of continental European transferware.
